Camelids, including camels, llamas and alpacas, have played a vital role in the livelihoods of people around the world, particularly in the Middle East, South America, Africa and parts of Asia, where they have supported transportation, agriculture and rituals for thousands of years.
These animals have incredible resilience and endurance, allowing them to withstand harsh natural environments, making them ideal athletes for animal sports.
The Japan Camelid Sports Federation celebrates and supports the sports in which these camelids play an active role.
Build a Camelid Dinner Ranch!
There are no wild camels in our country. The only places where you can see camels are around 20 zoos and theme parks. These facilities house a small number of camels, mainly kept for exhibition purposes, and the current number is less than 100 in all of Japan.
In a country without camels, the first thing we need to do is increase the number of camels within the country. We aim to create an environment suitable for grazing camelids, raise and breed them there, and ultimately build one of the largest camelid tourist ranches in the country, where people can interact with animals.
Let's hold a Camel Fest!
Camel racing is popular in countries with a long history and deep ties between people and camels, such as the Middle East.
However, in countries without camels, there is no infrastructure to hold camel races as a full-fledged sport.So, let's start with a ride experience that children can enjoy, or a compact camel festival.
Let's popularize camel milk!
Founded in Saudi Arabia in 2023, Noug has successfully modernized the camel milk market while preserving traditional camel herding methods. It has expanded its product line to include flavored milk as well as camel milk-based products such as soaps and lotions, catering to a wide range of domestic and international needs.
As JCSF aims to build a camelid farm, it is also planning to produce affordable domestic camel milk.
Increase your fan base through public relations activities!
We will actively engage in public relations activities to raise awareness by issuing press releases to the media about Camerid Sports, both domestic and international news sources.
In addition to existing media, we will also disseminate information to internet users and expand the circle of Camelid fans together with social media users who will help spread the word.
